The Threads That Connect Us: A Mural for Greenville
In partnership with the Greenville Center for Creative Arts (GCCA), we proudly unveiled our newest mural, The Threads of Community, at our Greenville branch. The art is a visual representation of where we’ve been and where we’re going, weaving together icons from South Carolina’s history like the Carolina Wren, Reedy River, and a nod to the textile industry that helped shape both Greenville and our hometown of Rock Hill.
GCCA is a local organization deeply rooted in community and committed to making art more inclusive and accessible. GCCA’s mission and connection to local artists made them an ideal collaborator. Thanks to their support, this project came to life through the hands of talented Upstate artists Alexander Rouse, RaAmen Stallings, Orlando Corona, Bella Bishara, and Faith Hudgens.
