The real difference between banking products
is the people behind those products
Family Trust is a credit union. That means we offer the same financial products you’re used to, like checking and savings accounts, financial planning, and auto and home loans—but that’s what we do, it’s not who we are.
The most important thing about us is our team. Because when most financial institutions’ products are relatively the same, it’s the people on our team that make the difference. That’s why we strive to form our team with people who share a few essential traits:
They are Motivated
When we add members to our team, it might surprise you to know that we don’t necessarily look for financial service experts first. That’s not to say our people aren’t experts, but products can be learned. Instead, we look for people who thrive on providing excellent service; who wake up every day wanting to make life better for others.
Our people aren’t waiting around to be told what to do. They’re motivated to make things happen for our members. They aren’t aiming for “satisfactory” service—they work every day to give our members the kind of experience you talk to your friends about.
They are Collaborators
No one person can deliver the extraordinary experiences we provide by themselves. Everything we do, we do as a team. That attitude is non-negotiable. We work together, we win together as a team. Always.
They are Smart
Of course, smart means a lot of things. It means they have the technical knowledge and understanding of the financial world to help you find the right products for your unique situation. It means they’re not just thinking about today but also about the future, and how we can help you achieve your goals – short term and long term.
These things we know to be true. As a not-for-profit credit union, our members are our owners. Everything we do, we do for your benefit. The way we treat members is always personal. It has everything to do with putting your interests first, and doing everything we can to help you meet your financial goals.
