Year Round Giving With Family Trust

Giving Tuesday kicks off the December holidays as the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. In honor, Family Trust is proud to announce that in 2019 we’ve contributed over 130 volunteer hours to over local charities and donated over $100,000!
One of our biggest charity events was the Family Trust 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament raised over $30,000 for Habitat for Humanity of York County, The Rock Hill Education Foundation, and York County Disabilities Foundation, Miracle Park Project.
Other charitable contributions were to the Pathways, Pilgrims’ Inn, local schools, Habitat for Humanity, York County Free Clinic ,NAMI Piedmont Tri-County, Hospice Community Care, Moped to Memphis, Family Promise, Adult Enrichment Centers, Tender Hearts , RideAbility, Boys and Girls Club ,Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation, Keystone, Stellie J Jackson Enrichment Center, Children’s Attention Home, Safe Passage ,Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas , Rock Hill Kappa Foundation,Love N Cherish Family Center, Fort Mill Care Center over the past year.
We were also grateful to receive a first place Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility and Community Service Award from the Carolina’s Credit Union League. The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award is given to a credit union for their social responsibility projects within the community and recognizes credit unions that best represent the values of “people helping people”.
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving, and York County SC Gives has joined to celebrate and encourage generosity in our county. Participating local restaurants are partnering with local charities to give back. Find a participating restaurant here.
