Giving back is at what credit unions are about, and we’re inviting members and the community to join us in supporting four local charities – while we double their donation.

Through November 20, you can donate to our Giving Trees, located in the new Family Trust center and in each branch. We’ll match every dollar donated by the community up to $5,000. Proceeds will be divided among our adopted charities: the Adult Enrichment Center in Fort Mill, Rideability Therapeutic Riding Center in Clover, Early Learning Partnership in York, and Rock Hill Family Readiness Group which supports local military families.

“We’re excited to be a part of the Family Trust Giving Tree. While the financial contribution is always helpful to us as a non-profit organization, sharing our mission of promoting early literacy for school readiness is priceless,” says Teresa Creech, executive director at the Early Learning Partnership of York County. “Thanks to all who help us make a difference in a child’s life in this giving community.”

We’ll present our donation on behalf of the community on Tuesday, December 1, which is known as Giving Tuesday. This year, local businesses and community leaders are encouraging citizens to give generously throughout the county – in time, talent, or money.

“It’s about recognizing the life-long donor’s impact, as well as empowering young donors to start now,” says Jennifer Graham, Rock Hill Gives coordinator and marketing director at Hospice & Community Care. “It is about more than giving money, but acknowledging that we all have something that we can do to make a difference right now.”

Please join us in supporting these charities through our giving tree.
