Tiny chip offers big protection

Our Visa Credit cards soon will have chip technology built in to better protect you from fraud. Called EMV, the chip creates a unique transaction code every time you use it at a chip-activated terminal.

We will automatically send you a chip-enabled card when your current card expires. Once the new card is activated, please destroy your existing card.

Your card number and PIN will not change although the expiration date may be different so you’ll want to update information with billers.

We’ll begin issuing EMV debit cards in early 2016. Learn more about chip-enabled cards.
