Take Family Trust to School

You’re going back to school and so is Family Trust. We have grants and planners for teachers, rewards for children who make good grades and scholarship opportunities.

Grants growing to $500 each

Family Trust has offered grants to educators over 10 years, and this year we’re increasing the amount to $500 each. Members who are public, private or home school educators can apply for one of 20 grants.

We award $10,000 in grants every year and increased the amount for each grant to better help teachers create exciting activities for their classrooms. Last year, our grants helped students become informed consumers, improved reading skills, and created awareness of health and physical activity.

The online application is due Tuesday, November 14.

Plan your year with us

Each year we distribute 8,000 school planners to educators throughout York County.

This year’s planner features a mud kitchen created at Westminster Catawba Christian School with the help of a Family Trust teacher grant. The planner includes school calendars, Family Trust news, and merchant coupons. Visit a branch to request one while supplies last.

Savings and good grades go together

Each quarter, we give children ages 8 to 12 who are members of our Explorer’s Club $1 for every A or equivalent on their curent report card. Just bring a copy of your child’s first quarter report card to any branch.

It’s easy to open an Explorer’s Club account. Just bring the child’s Social Security number to any branch. Children age seven and under get $5 on their birthday.
