Letting us know when you’re traveling makes sure you have access to your debit and credit cards while on the road. This summer, there’s a new way to inform us of your travel plans. Instead of the previous web form, you now can use the secure messaging center in digital banking.

Traveling in restricted states and countries could be flagged as fraud and result in a decline if we don’t know you’re traveling. To avoid inconvenient declines or holds, use the quick and easy secure messaging feature in digital banking.

From Online Banking:

  1. Login to the desktop version of banking.
  2. Select “Messages” from under your profile at the top right.
    1
  3. Select the “Compose” tab.
    2
  4. From the “Subject” dropdown, select “Cards – Travel Alert.”
    3
  5. If you prefer (though not required), select the corresponding “Account.”
  6. In the “Message” box, fill out the applicable information.

For extra security, consider using the card control feature on our mobile app. Log in now to try. This allows you to disable a card and restore it with the swipe of a button. So, if you notice your card is lost or stolen, you can immediately disable it. Use these features and spend your summer traveling safely and problem free.
