Family Trust is excited to bring back our “Know Your Dough” money management workshop series with new workshops this year. Workshops are free and open to the public.
Our Inspiring Financial Freedom series, designed for young professionals, will offer three lunch and learn sessions that cover student debt, credit scores, and budgeting.
We’ll also host a Saturday session for first-time home-buyers on Feb. 27 where participants can ask questions one-on-one and get prequalified onsite.
Speakers include Zenon Butts of Williams and Fudge Collection Agency; and Jennifer Panther, certified financial counselor at Financially Focused, LLC; and Family Trust mortgage representatives.
Participants can enter to win a $500 Money Makeover which can be spent on paying down debt. The makeover also includes a one-on-one coaching with a certified financial counselor.
Our “Planning for Retirement” series will return with new topics. We’ll cover budgeting, estate planning, and understanding Medicare and Medicare Supplements.
Speakers include Matt Griffin, Family Trust Investment Consultant; Mitch Payne, SC Elder Law Attorney with Warner, Payne and Black; Derick Gainey, owner of Advantage Insurance Agency; and Audrey Burton of the SC Social Security Administration.
All workshops will be held at the Family Trust Center downtown Rock Hill. Participants receive a free gift.
