Family Trust Gives Back Year-Round

Giving Tuesday kicks off the December holidays as the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. In honor, Family Trust is proud to announce that in 2018 we’ve contributed over 420 volunteer hours to over local charities and donated over $100,000!

One of our biggest charity events was the Family Trust 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament raised approximately $30,000 for Safe Passage, The Palmetto School at the Children’s Attention Home, and York County Disabilities Foundation, Miracle Park Project.

Other charitable contributions were to the Heart 2 Heart Foundation, Pathways, Pilgrims Inn, The Early Learning Partnership of York County, local schools, Hurricane relief efforts, Habitat for Humanity, York County Free Clinic, Worthy Boys and Girls Camp, Project Hope, NAMI Piedmont Tri-County, Hospice Community Care, Moped to Memphis, the Fort Mill History Museum, The Haven Mens Shelter, Family Promise, the Adult Enrichment Center, Tender Hearts, Jr. Achievement, and MaxAbilities of York County over the past year.

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving, and York County SC Gives has joined to celebrate and encourage generosity in our county. Participating local restaurants are partnering with local charities to give back. Find a participating restaurant here, or make a donation today show your support.
