We can’t believe it’s been five years since we opened our Clover branch on SC 55 East. We’ve got a week’s worth of celebrating planned and a big thank you to members in the area for supporting us.

The theme for the week is “Five Fantastic Years: Thanks for Cheering Us On.” The week-long celebration includes daily giveaways and a hot dog lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday for members and business partners. We’ll also try to give away $500 to folks who get in our Cash Cube.

“We are grateful to be a part of the Clover community for the past 5 years,” said Cathie Sherer, branch manager. “This community is supportive and has welcomed us with open arms.”

The Clover branch, which opened in September 2008, supports Clover schools, and chamber and community events.

“Each fall, Family Trust gives calendars to help educators with our whole year and they work alongside us all year by providing financial presentations in our classrooms, grants for our teachers to encourage creativity in our instruction, and hosting staff recognition incentives each month to schools in our district!” says Lesli Ann Howell, special needs educator at Larne Elementary. “They embody “Each child, each day…excellence!” Family Trust is our partner, friend, and family.”

To continue educating the Clover community, Family Trust will host Know Your Dough, a free four-month money management series for the public in early 2014.
