“Don’t spend it if you don’t have it” offers Christina Bonaparte, a graduating senior from Rock Hill High, who has served on our Youth Advisory Board for one year. Bonaparte recently presented her project to the board and earned a $1,000 scholarship she’ll use in the fall at Converse College. She plans to major in education and psychology with hopes on one day becoming a guidance counselor.
Five Winthrop University students recently gave us a sneak peek of their art that will be displayed in our new headquarters on White Street. Featuring railroad ties, cut steel, a porcelain map of York County and teacups, the artwork will be displayed in the community room, break room and board room, and in lobby areas.
