Local School Districts Win with Family Trust Grants

Thirty-three outstanding York County teachers received their grant awards Tuesday evening. Thanks to these hardworking teachers, local schools are about to add fun, creative, and interactive experiences to their students’ curriculums. Money awarded from these grants will go towards projects such as a simulated journey through Ellis Island; a garden where produce grown will be donated to the Fort Mill Food bank and hopefully sold at a Farmer’s Market event; and the revival of a Musical Theatre class with a musical performance at the end of the school year.

Annual Meeting and Upcoming Board Election

Seven candidates have been presented by the Family Trust Nominating Committee for four available seats on the Board of Directors.* Vote at this year’s annual meeting held meeting May 1 at First Baptist Church in Rock Hill.* Our board meets monthly with management and are responsible for general oversight of the credit union and for setting policy.
