When Family Trust was created in 1957, gas cost 24 cents a gallon, Dwight Eisenhower was president, and American Bandstand debuted on ABC. A lot has happened since Family Trust began at Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Co. when a strike left many employees struggling. That’s when they pooled their resources and started the credit union to provide the financial services so desperately needed.
Four students from Clinton College received $3,000 in scholarships from Family Trust at the college’s monthly lyceum at its Crawford Road campus.
