Hey teens! Would you like to get an inside look at how credit unions work while getting a chance to earn a $1,000 scholarship at the same time? We’re looking for teens age 15-17 to serve on the Family Trust Youth Advisory Board. Service will begin in October, and board members can serve up to 3 years. You’ll meet students from throughout York County and add valuable experience to your resume.
School starts Wednesday and you bet teachers throughout York County will have their Family Trust planners nearby. This year’s planner has the theme “Educators Make a Difference” and it’s full of financial tips for teachers to use in and out of the classroom.
What do hula hoops and flip-flops, palm trees and Boogie boards have in common with saving? Plenty if you attended our Youth Celebration on Saturday at our branches on Dave Lyle branch in Rock Hill and in Clover.
Family Trust was among 70-plus individuals and businesses honored Wednesday for contributions to the Rock Hill School District’s 29 schools and Parent Smart.
